Jesus gave us an extraordinary promise when He said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.” We have stood on that promise many times, and in some ways, we have taken it to an extreme in believing that God will give us anything we ask for but is that what he meant?
