Sunday Mornings:
Manhattan First Kids ministry is for kids infant-6th grade. On Sunday mornings we have a nursery, preschool, and elementary aged service available. Our background checked, approved volunteers are happy to invest their time and love into your children during our main service. You’ll know who they are by their bright mint green t-shirt and name tag!
Right when you enter the doors of Manhattan First, you’ll be greeted by a friendly Manhattan First Kids volunteer. They will walk you through and get you set up with our check in process. Your child will receive a name tag, that belongs on their back, and you will receive a check in sticker that you will hand in when picking them up after service. This process allows us to make sure your child is only picked up by you.
Nursery:
We have created a warm environment for your babies for the duration of our service. We’ll make sure to check their diapers, feed them a bottle or snack, or even help those who are learning how to potty train. Once your child is walking, talking, and fully potty trained (typically around the age of 3) we’ll move them into our preschool class! There is a nursing mother’s room in our nursery. Our moms have access to it, and are allowed permission behind the kids check in table if it is their intent to use that room. We have a tv where a nursing mother can watch the live stream of the service. If you need help locating the nursing mother’s room please don’t hesitate to ask the Welcome Home Team.
Preschool:
Our preschoolers have an interactive class that will keep them on their toes. Kids will experience everything from worship, a bible lesson, prayer time, snack time, and when the weather permits, playground time outside. Your kids will enjoy our forest themed classroom that we have worked hard to make with creative stations. They will be able to go camping in the play tent, make a fun dinner for their friends with the play kitchen, read a book in the reading nook, or have color time! Once your preschooler reaches Kindergarten they will attend our elementary service located in the activity center.
Elementary:
This high energy service places importance on our bible lessons, learning how to worship, and hearing about the great things God is doing around the world through our missionaries. Your child will get to have fun playing fuse ball, and air hockey before and after service. Pastor Megan places importance on scripture memorization. So don’t forget to ask your child what their memory verse is for that week! Elementary aged kids are dropped off at the activity center when service starts. Following service, you can pick up your nursery, preschool, and elementary aged kids at the check in station.
Wednesday Nights:
Wednesday night kids is available for K-5th graders at 7:00 pm. They will have a blast as they enjoy a bible lesson, a snack, and get to hang out with some wonderful approved volunteers. Wednesday night is a more relaxed environment for your kids to be active, while learning the Word of God.

Pastor Megan
Hi I’m Pastor Megan! I am the youth and children’s pastor here at Manhattan First. Jesus radically changed my life through growing up at Manhattan First. My desire is that your children and youth will look back on this time of their life and be able to say the same thing.
Manhattan First Volunteers
Our volunteers have had their background check and references completed in order to volunteer with our Manhattan First kids. We place high importance on the safety of our kids. We use a 2-deep rule. Meaning, at all times your child has at least two volunteers with them. Our Manhattan First volunteers are wonderfully equipped in the roles they serve in, and they love what they do!
